Education

With Vancouver’s population booming and more people hitting the wilderness for recreation, NSR’s call volume will likely keep climbing. To cut down on these incidents, the team emphasises public education—volunteering talks at schools, hiking clubs, churches, and community groups, staffing booths at outdoor shows, and more. NSR partners closely with BC AdventureSmart to spread the word on staying safe outdoors.

If you would like NSR to give a talk for your group, send an email and we’ll try our best to help.
